Estate Planning, Wills & Attorney Search – Pennsylvania

Protecting Yourself, Your Prosperity, and Your Family.

One of the most important components of the Estate Planning process is the drafting of a Last Will & Testament. Joseph Frabizzio of Frabizzio Law LLC is a licensed and experienced attorney that can assist you and your family.

How to Prepare Your Last Will and Testament

It is true that not a single individual would like to think about his or her death. However, if you want to make sure that your family will be okay if something happened to you, you must plan ahead. You need to have a last will and testament that can assure your kids will be able to inherit your estate without legal problems.

Typically, you can either choose to get an estate planning attorney to make the document or create it yourself. Although it is possible to create on your own, an attorney can help you with every important detail you may miss.

If you choose to create your will yourself, below are the two most important elements of your statement when creating your own will:

  1. You need to designate someone who will handle legal debts, property management or distribution and funeral expenditures. This person is called your executor.
  2. Next is to indicate the names of your beneficiaries, such as your spouse and your kids, who will inherit your assets.
  3. The last part of your will must indicate what properties you’re leaving to whom.

You need to make sure that your will and testament has the exact date, signatures and two reliable witnesses. You must not mention the witnesses’ names on the document and must not be related to you.

Keep this important document inside a fireproof and secure cabinet. As a final point, give your accountants or lawyers copies of the documents.
